Auto advance

By default, you will move on to the next exercise once you have completed two exercises perfectly. This can be disabled or changed using the auto advance dialogue box, available from clicking on the above icon or choosing Auto advance from the exercise menu.

Unticking Advance automatically stops the program advancing altogether

The two menu boxes control how auto-advance works - how accurately you have to type, and how many exercises in a row. Choosing Advance every 2 perfect goes means that you have to get 2 exercises perfectly right (a green coloured ball) before the program will move on. Choosing Advance every 3 OK goes means that you have to type 3 exercises perfectly or reasonably well (green or yellow coloured balls). Choose Advance every 5 Goes to move on after 5 goes, even if you have typed them very badly.

Untick the Check before advancing dialogue to make the program move straight on to the next exercuse without asking you first
